Personal data we process
Evocum processes your personal data when you use our services and/or when you provide it to us. Below you will find an overview of the personal data we process:

With what purpose and on what basis do we process personal data?
Evocum uses your data solely for the purpose of providing our services. This means that the processing of your data is always directly related to the assignment you have given. We do not use your data for (targeted) marketing. If you share your data with us and we use this data to contact you at a later time, other than at your request, we will explicitly ask for your permission. Your data will not be shared with third parties, except to meet accounting and other administrative obligations. These third parties are all bound by confidentiality based on the agreement between them and us, an oath, or a legal obligation.
We process your personal data for the following purposes:

- Evocum also processes personal data when we are legally obliged to do so, such as data we need for our tax return
Special and/or sensitive personal data that we process
Our website and/or service does not intend to collect data about website visitors who are under 16 years of age, unless they have permission from parents or guardians. However, we cannot verify if a visitor is over 16. We therefore recommend that parents be involved in their children’s online activities to prevent the collection of data about children without parental consent. Data automatically collected by our website is processed with the aim of further improving our services. This data (such as your internet browser and device type) is not personal data.
Cooperation with fiscal and criminal investigations.
In certain cases, Evocum may be obligated by law to share your data in connection with fiscal or criminal investigations by government authorities. In such a situation, we are compelled to share your data, but we will resist it to the extent permitted by law.
How long we retain personal data
Evocum retains your data for as long as you are a client of ours. This means that we keep your customer profile until you indicate that you no longer wish to use our services. If you inform us of this, we will also consider it as a request for erasure. Based on applicable administrative obligations, we are required to retain invoices containing your (personal) data for the relevant statutory period. However, employees no longer have access to your client profile and documents created based on your instructions.
Sharing of personal data with third parties
Evocum does not sell your data to third parties and only discloses it if necessary for the performance of our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation. We enter into a data processing agreement with companies that process your data on our behalf to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality of your data. Evocum remains responsible for these processing activities.

To ensure that the request for access is made by you, we ask you to include a copy of your identification document with the request. Please black out your photo, MRZ (machine-readable zone, the strip with numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number, and Citizen Service Number (BSN) in this copy to protect your privacy. We will respond to your request as soon as possible, but within four weeks. Evocum also wants to inform you that you have the possibility to file a complaint with the national supervisory authority, the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
